Hey lovelies, I hope things wherever you are right now are awesome :)
I received a pleasant birthday surprise last Thursday evening when I got linked to a post on the USA Today blog running a feature on book trailers.
For those of you who are new to this place (I noticed a bunch of new followers — HI YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, WELCOME), last year around this time, a good friend of mine released her debut YA novel’s book trailer which featured a song I had written — “Hunger”.
It is a massive understatement to say that this made me so happy — what I am is totally floored and still pinching myself. Thank you, Universe. This was an awesome thing to receive this year. :”D

Work in progress. Started this one late last
year, but sometimes the words don’t come to
you until you’re ready.
“They say be careful with everything you do
offer these warnings and cautionary tales
make me afraid to choose
but why go apologize
for things that fit just right
I’ve got to go, the world is mine tonight.”
rexbasileus asked: I just dropped by to tell you, your song Here Be Monsters is positively /brilliant/ and I've played it at least seven times in the past two days. So, thanks. :D
eeeeee ♥ thank you so much! am really happy you love it. also, i see that you’ve reblogged HBM :DDD seriously, this was an awesome message to come home to!
I’ve been neglecting this place. This needs to change, but I tend to be slow in stuff so we’ll play it by ear for now. Got home from KOMIKON 2012. Awesome fun with friends and tons of loot :)

The right to speak one’s mind, to share opinions and initiate discussion and debate is essential. I agree that there is a necessity to combat cybercrime and Internet-related offenses — but I cannot agree with a law that is proposing online censorship and violates civil liberties.
